Protection of User Data and Information

A) Data and information required by the application from users:

Users provide the following information to the Company to use the Afogato application:

Information entered during registration (mobile phone number) and supplementary information provided to the Company.

Data and information stored within the application as a result of users utilizing Afogato services; such as location data (to optimize service usage), information regarding the hardware used to access Afogato services (e.g., operating system), the user’s method of internet connection, etc.

B) Usage and protection of user data and information: In order to safeguard the privacy of users—whether natural or legal persons—and in compliance with confidentiality principles and relevant laws and regulations, the Company utilizes and protects the data and information received from users as follows:

Information obtained from users during registration, such as mobile phone numbers, is used solely for user authentication. The Company commits to using this information exclusively for the provision of the application’s services.

Regarding data and information stored within the application during the use of Afogato services, the Company commits to using such stored information solely to improve the quality of services.

In the event that third parties undertake parts of the service delivery process under the Company’s supervision, the Company proceeds with these operations in accordance with principles, laws, and regulations concerning privacy protection and the safeguarding of data and information. The Company undertakes not to disclose user data and information to third parties—whether natural or legal persons—for commercial or non-commercial purposes outside the scope of the aforementioned services, without obtaining the consent of the data owners.

Should judicial or administrative authorities, pursuant to the law, request data or information regarding a specific user or users from the Company, the Company is legally obligated to disclose such information to the competent authorities.

By accepting these terms and conditions, and for as long as the user utilizes the Afogato platform, the Company is authorized to send SMS messages to the user’s mobile number regarding the use of Afogato services, notifications about important news and promotional schemes, and, in general, any matter that may facilitate the user’s optimal use of the Afogato platform.
